Mission

To develop pupils holistically through exposure, exploration and experiences in visual and performing arts through the 3E approach.

Excite:

- To excite and motivate students to shine and display their art & music talents from the curriculum and Performing & Visual Arts Groups

- To motivate students to celebrate their success.

Engage:

- To engage our students so that the exposure and experience help students to feel a deeper sense of involvement through their performances and art contributions to their peers, teachers and stakeholders.

Empower:

- Inspire students and empower them- confident performers / active contributors through arts.

- Students to showcase their talents in various arts forms and hone their public speaking skills to communicate with the audience in a stage setting/ art displays.

1. Our Art Curriculum

In Art, students are exposed to a range of art tools and media from which they explore creative ways to create artworks to communicate their ideas. Our Art Curriculum integrates with ALP on the use of recyclables with the variety of art forms. Students not only take responsibility and put in effort to collect recyclables from home, they also learn to explore recycled materials and see possibilities of art making by being creative and innovative with recycled materials to create different artworks.

P1 & P2 Visual Arts

P1 Students explore with 3D sculpture, self-portrait using mixed media collage and artworks inspired by music.

P2 Students create imaginative artwork using lines and colours, use recycled materials to create textures and printmaking collage and explore the drawing of their neighbourhood by applying techniques in landscape composition.
